FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a Juneathon?
It's primarily a running challenge, but if you can't or don't want to run every day, you can still join in by cycling, walking, rowing, weights, swimming, building sandcastles or whatever. Just do something every day in June.

Then what?
Then blog about it on your blog within 24 hours. (You don't have to write a 20,000 word dissertation but a bit more than 'Today I ran 5 miles' would be good.) You are also encouraged to post about it on Twitter (using the #juneathon tag), or on the Facebook page (links to your blog are fine; no one will think you're spamming). If you don't already have a blog, sign up for one free at Wordpress.

Anything else?
Yes. Juneathon is a community thing and it'd be great if you could visit as many other blogs as you can and leave comments in support.

Whose idea was this in the first place?
Joggerblogger is the man to blame. See the history page for more details.

How long has it been going?
Juneathon has been going since 2007.

Who else is doing it?
To see who's in this year, see the participants page.

How do I join in?
Go to the 'enter here' page, fill in the form and press submit. Your name and blog URL will appear on the participants page shortly afterwards.

I only just found out about it and we're halfway through June. Can I still join in?
Of course! You can join in at any time.
